So what has the rest of Tassie been up to? Anyone got new mods or anything? Still just the 3 of us or has the Tassie crew extended?

i think there is a member in hobart but cannot remember his name...

working on the back hatch at the moment and a little bit of boot install.
putting in the 3 spoilers that are on the back of the Glanza which is tricky..
making a mdf base and for the back of the seats so i can get it carpeted.
then get to play with some more sound cool.gif
just got 2.125inch cat back exhaust with muffler with a 3.5in dumpy.
just installed slotted rotors with race pads by ferodo. would highly reccomend doing this makes
loads of difference biggrin.gif

whats happening with you guys?

may 2nd a mate has organised a cruise to hobart if keen? going to be a few toyotas kicking around

Ah it seems you have been busy then!

Finally got round to getting a plug to fit on my antenna cord, so I now have a working stereo finally! # cheers to the bloke that cut out his cd player and every other bloody cord in my centre console!! Got my windscreen wipers fixed up aswell and got a set of those AMR racing seat covers. Got it looking all neat, now to decide on modifications!

Whats the details on the May 2nd cruisse mate?

Nice nice, will have to post some pics up when you have the hatch painted! tongue.gif

Yea he wanted his cd player so he just cut everything out. Need to think bout some sound in the rear now.
Just need to run cable from stereo to rear speaker cable. It has the wiring to each speaker and the socket is just hanging there.
Also looking at getting a cheap cd/mp3 player from autobarn etc.

Dunno bout mods as yet. If I can get in the colour of my car I might consider a bodykit, spoiler, bonnet!

Plastic wise...

The parcel shelf is intact however I need the plastic on the passenger side in the boot which the parcel shelf clips into if you have it mate wink.gif

will post some pics when shes done. will look great!

i have my old cd player you can have it for $70 if you interested. tis a pioneer flip down face. fwe marks etc.

that will be hard to get same colours but there will be something out there. i did suspension first and was amazed at the capabilities of how the starlets handle. ive got lowered springs kmac swaybars and strut braces and it handles like a go kart cool.gif but now looking at upgrading to adjustable coilovers..

the clip in question is the one the parcel shelf holds on to? and swivels off? ill have a squiz when i get a chance.

you on facebook tj?

Yea cant wait thumbsup.gif

Now you mention it, I might grab the cd player after I sort out finding a replacement bike!

I reckon it would be a little difficult to find the parts but I did see one with all the goods in the same colour as mine at powercruise so maybe I will be in luck...

Thats the part! If you could find it, that would be great!

Yea, Ti Hill is the name! thumbsup.gif

Bought this '88 GPZ250 to get to work and back on as I am still on my L's with the car. Bike lasted 2 days and it overcooked on me. So we stripped it and discovered I needed a part for the gear oilo drive. Kawasaki never had it so had to wait a month for it to come from Japan. Finally came and got the bike going. Drove from Talbot rd and it got as far as St. Pats before it blew up again!

So yea, here I am walking to work rain, hail, or shine, which isn't nice when it is raining!

Saw the car at this years Tassie powercruise hey.

ive got off roader crf250r limited wink.gif keeps me occupied.
loans are good as long as you can pay it off...
nop harm in trying for one even if it is a small personal loan.

i might be buying some trd coilovers froma member in a month or so, so may have my lowered springs to sell if you might be interested in the future.

Yea they are nice bikes mate! thumbsup.gif

Well with the money I earn each week is no problem to pay back a loan but I have been told I have to of had my job for 12 months. I could save but that might take a month or 2 till I have money for a bike and until then I'm walking in the rain so I really need a bike right now and pay it off.

Oh nice man. You'll be sitting nicely on a set of TRD's!

Bump!
Just thought i'd stick my head in and say hi!
I'm in Hobart and drive a dark blue metallic EP91 life.. I use it for my job (pizza deliveries).. I also have a 1970 Crown that i take for a spin about once a week smile.gif
Would be cool to have a meet up in Launceston or something?
