Hi everyone

I just want to publicly express my gratitude to a forum member who I recently bought a part for my ep82 from.

the member was so helpful and a pleasure to deal with that he deserves recognition in my opinion.

these forums..and in particular the for sale and wanted sections operate mainly on a trust basis.

And unfortunately sometimes people are less than honest..or are unwilling or simply too busy to help.

this member contacted me in reply to an urgent request for a bonnet.

he then sent pics..and the deal was done :)

But because of the distance I had to organise a courior.

the member agreed to wrap it in cardboard and bubblewrap. Then sent pics of his wrapping..very nicely done.

then the courior messed up the pickup time causing the member to have to wait around for hours..he ended up taking the day off work.

we kept in constant communication for updates.

the bonnet arrived in great condition and git me out of trouble :)

I have bought and sold stuff on here for a while now and have had mostly good transactions with great members..but this member really deserves my yeh for the day :)

His member name is Tommo.

a really nice guy.

thanks for reading.

cheers

This is good to here. The starlet community is pretty damn small, so it's good to know there are members willing to help one another.
Good work TOMMO and props to pookie for giving the recognition :)

:) no worries.. people are always quick to bag out others when things go pear shaped.. but I believe in also pointing out the kindness in people too.

we have to stick together :)

Merry xmas all..

cheers

Great post and great work Tommo.

I've just moved this thread into the trader feedback section where most of these posts go.

There are some unbelievably helpful people in this community that go miles out of their way to help complete strangers which is why It's pretty much the only car club I've ever been a member of or ever will.  I'm personally am pretty lazy though :(

I really should get tommo his intake pipe Paul gave me a month ago :(

Credit shout to Paul82, from a phone call about a part I had turned into a helpful turn around I needed a full break line that I had clipped during my glanza conversion and instantly I was at his house with one in my hand! The part that he needed was swapped for help with wiring too! The guy was just an absolute hand full of help and not one headache. So thanks Paul! Your the man!

It's a small car that packs a punch! Glanza Life!

+1 for Tommo, made my manual conversion a breeze with all the bits he gave me, very helpful. Helping me once again with sourcing parts for my 4efte conversion.
