Hey guys,

My names Chris. Had my Starlet for a little bit over a year now, and in that time its seen about 1 hour of road use. It was given to me, on the premise that I fix it. Blows smoke on boost, thought it was a fairly simple fix (also considering i was 16 when I received it, so I did have money for a full car purchase). Purchased a TD04L to replace (what I think is) the blown TD that was on the car. Very simple job to replace. However, during the midst of having the car, the car had to be moved from an old house an South Sydney to the Northern Beaches. The car did drive fine, but had no rego. One unregistered vehicle permit later and the car made it to the new house. Along the way to the new house, in the middle of the harbour tunnel, the exhaust manifold completely blew at the collector point  . Also worth noting that the car had some pretty shoddy electrical work, amongst other dodgy methods of modifying your vehicle.

So, in the mean time while I finally figure out what I will eventually do about a TD04 manifold, I've been working to restore the electrical system to a severely less fire prone standard, an A'PEXi front mount, civic dual core rad, amongst other things.

Hope to post more on here, ill post some photos below for you guys to see.

Cheers!  :D

P.S Take note, do not wire your car if you do not know how to wire things in, took 2 hours to remove it all

P.P.S Do not wire your boost controller to the Accessory switch, thats f***ing retarded

Gotta say, even though they arent genuine RAYS they really do make the car, they work with the rear pods and side skirts really well, and it looks a lot lower than other 82's

not so much the wiring job !!

Taking inspiration from your build and creating a power distribution block

I didnt do the wiring like that, believe me
