Hey guys,

What happened with the forum, it's pretty dead - have people moved on to different cars or other forums?

Sadly, I still come here, and I'm on the Face Book.

Agreed, I've found myself on the Facebook page heaps more often. I can go months in between checking the forums.

It's a shame, because the forums are a way better resource for new starters just getting to know starlets. The same questions just seem to be getting asked over and over, but no new information comes out and gets pinned like a forum would.

I just checked the date as to when I joined this forum ,  12 years ago  :)

good to see a few of the "early days" people still floating around..

yes, I sold the starlet a few years ago now (sadly, as it was a bloody good car)

I cant remember who bought it now , but I sent it to Perth from Adelaide for the new owner.

would love to know how it's going now... it's seemed to have disappeared tho..

Some of us are still going

Anyone else get the same email from Photobucket? I'm guessing it's about to get a whole lot more barron here as photobucket are pulling all images from being used by third party sites unless you pay an increased fee and change your membership.

Yep - Photobucket are doing a money grab.
I suspect the management are doing a getting a quick cash injection before they sell off the assets and close the company and screw the customers.

Seriously, at US$400 per year, they'll get 1,000 customers max. If they made it $1 per year, they'd get 1,000,000 customers easy..

I've downloaded all images I had on there - only 1800 of them. I'll have to upload them somewhere safe and re-link my images in forums posts eventually.

I wonder if it would be possible to develop a BB software plugin / update for batch re-linking?  :)
